What are Campaigns?

The Campaigns feature on OpenSponsorship allows businesses to use our platform as a means of acquiring athletes & other talent for brand sponsorship deals.

What kinds of deals can you do?

  • Our most common deals require deliverables for social media posts but it's really up to you. Appearances at events, long term deals and more are all on the table.

What rewards are there for talent participating in a deal?

  • Cash

    • Money that OS takes 20% commission.

    • Brands see the most success when rewarding via cash payments.

  • Product

    • Physical item, digital item, or subscription item providing extra value (ex. Shoes, Gift Card or Subscription).

    • We do recommend a small cash offering with product deals to see more interest from our talent.

  • Equity

    • Athletes/other talent may take ownership in the business (can be divided either by percentage or by shares).

  • Royalties

    • Commission that athletes/other talent would earn (can be broken up by percentage or by dollar amount)

What happens once a campaign is created?

  • Once a brand creates a campaign, athletes & other talent can directly apply.

  • Brands can also invite individuals to apply to their campaigns. Invites are not binding and a good way to drive interest - we recommend this.
